Denmark’s national design award, “Danish Design Award”, was presented this afternoon.
The award ceremony took place at Fredericia Furnitures showroom in Copenhagen and was live transmitted via Facebook.
Danish Design Award focuses on the impact and value of design, while paying tribute to the companies and designers across the country by the difference their solutions can make to the industry, society and everyday life. The 15 award categories range from designs that help create jobs or save resources to designs that improve health or represent a visionary concept.

Design as a tool in the crisis
The Danish Design Award is showcased in collaboration between the Danish Design Center and Design Denmark.
