Good design should provide value for the users, and this year’s finalists present 50 convincing designs with the capacity to make a real difference.

The Danish Design Award announces the finalists for Denmark’s big design prize. Designers and companies around the country submitted a total of 181 solutions, and the jury has now selected the 50 finalists that are going to compete for this year’s prizes, which will be handed out at the award show on 28 May.

When the Danish Design Award 2018 is presented at the head office of the Confederation of Danish Industry in the centre of Copenhagen, the competition for the prestigious design prizes stands between anything from clothes and furniture to industrial equipment, brand identities and sharing-economy apps.

The Danish Design Award is organised by the Danish Design Centre and Design denmark, and this year’s winners, selected by an independent jury, are announced at a grand award ceremony at the head office of the Confederation of Danish Industry on 28 May 2018.
