Picture this; a world free from the injustice of colonialism. Based on the idea that the museum should return all looted objects in 2033, this speculative project enables the user to virtually experience items that will no longer be exhibited at the British Museum after 2033.

Through the dissemination of museums, this solution addresses highly relevant issues about how history continues to shape our perception of the world – and how it should be understood in the future. In a historical context that still shapes our present, it turns on our ability to imagine a possible utopia. To that extent, it serves as a meaningful inspiration for future design.
