Ulla is the CEO of EGGS Design. With a background within IT, she began working with designers around the year 2000 and found that design was the missing puzzle piece to make technology create value for people, business, and ultimately the planet. She is fascinated daily by designers’ abilities to empathize, tackle complexity, visualize, and create something out of nothing. As a leader, she is concerned with engaging a culture that fosters innovation and job satisfaction.
In 2012, she founded EGGS Design together with a team of designers and is now living the dream of the world’s best workplace for creative people. EGGS currently has 120 employees in Norway and Denmark and focuses its business on innovation and design of products, services, and businesses. With a strong core of good design craftsmanship, EGGS helps its customers solve complex problems and figure out what their future business should consist of.
Ulla has a degree in economics and management from BI Norwegian Business School and has taken studies at MIT, INSEAD, and Harvard. She is a representative of the Design Council, the expert panel for Innofounder, the recruitment panel for the Royal Academy, and a board member of the Danish Industry Advisers.
