Flemming Rafn is co-founder of the architectural firm Tredje Natur, which creates regenerative cities and buildings and develops innovative climate solutions. The projects of Tredje Natur concretize the transformation with both positivist and no-nonsense solutions towards 2050. Flemming is in the projects concerned with showing how the urban and natural circulation can involve us in a new life-affirming narrative about the future.
Flemming has among other things been behind Klimaparken in Vesterbro, Klimakvarteret in Østerbro, and the scalable system solution Klimaflisen, all of which are innovative solutions that counteract the impact of the climate crisis on the city. Under construction, is among other the sustainable tourism project Ugakei Circles, in the primeval forest in Japan and the generation house Sølund by the lakes in Copenhagen, which will be the country´s largest care center, which also contains youth housing, senior housing, and a daycare. Flemming is likewise the promoter of the 20 million DKK large Circle Bank development project, that gathers key players in the construction industry, to realize recycling and upcycling in the construction sector at a systemic level.
