Turning harbor walls into living ecosystems.
ReefTile is a modular brick designed to boost harbor biodiversity. The brick is a 100% biobased, 3d printed, biomimetic design. It is intended to be installed along human-made harbor walls, especially steel retaining walls, to improve biodiversity.
ReefTile is designed to mimic natural coral patterns, with different niches and spaces to target different species. The designs are intentionally made to be aesthetically pleasing to both wildlife and humans, in the hopes of connecting people to the ocean and inspiring curiosity.
Together with the RevKasse installation system, ReefTile can be installed on-site without a diving team in as little as 30 minutes, reducing installation costs for biodiversity projects.
