OUTT material

A second life for marble.

OUTT is a mineral surface material for architecture, designed to move seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. It is made from up to 85% marble dust, chips, and fragments left over from quarrying and processing. While it may resemble terrazzo, OUTT is a material in its own right. A patented process combines the leftover material with a small amount of cement-based binder to create durable tiles and surfaces that withstand rain, frost, heat, wear, and traffic. The marble’s natural variations in colour, grain size, and texture remain visible, giving the surface subtle depth and tonal variation.

Marble quarrying and processing leave behind large amounts of material unsuitable for traditional stone slabs. OUTT turns these leftovers into the main component of a durable building material, giving them new purpose while reducing the need for newly extracted resources. Its durability and aesthetic qualities also allow the material to move seamlessly from interiors to demanding outdoor environments, creating continuity throughout a project.
