One toy, endless possibilities for growing minds.

The first years of a child’s life are crucial for growth and learning, shaping lifelong health and success. MODU originated from the need for a dynamic, age-adapting toy that could provide long-lasting value during early childhood, where children undergo rapid changes, often requiring many different toys to support their development.

The concept is a life-sized modular toy that promotes physical activity and cognitive learning through open-ended play. An ecosystem consisting of foam blocks, connector pegs, and wheels that can be assembled into multiple functional constructions, from active toys like rocking horses and ride-ons to furniture and toys for pretend play, like a kids’ stool or a play kitchen.

Based on snap- and press-fit connections and made from 100% recyclable mono-materials, the solution is designed for easy component replacement and recyclability, prolonging the overall lifecycle. It is designed to remain fun and challenging from the newborn stage to age 6, and, as a modular, scalable system, its functionality can always be further developed.
