A school built to grow with you.

How do you design a school for children who are constantly developing? Across 70,000 square meters, KIS International School Reignwood Park outside Bangkok is organized as a learning landscape that changes with students as they grow. Younger children encounter smaller, safe, sensory-rich environments close to nature, while older students gain access to more open and flexible spaces for collaboration, focus, and independence. The campus is organized as a sequence of six themed “gardens” that guide children through different stages of their development.

Inspired by Thai culture, the campus design also reflects a global perspective. Different areas of the school are inspired by diverse landscape typologies - from deserts and savannahs to arctic environments.

Children develop in different ways. Yet many schools are still designed as if they all learn the same way. KIS International School Reignwood Park allows students to move throughout the day between spaces for focus, movement, collaboration, reflection, and hands-on learning. The physical environment therefore becomes more than a backdrop for education. It acts as an active tool that supports learning, agency, and a sense of belonging.
