Self-injection is not one-size-fits-all. A.i.r. Platform™ is a core technology system for developing auto-injectors that can be adapted to different drugs, prefilled syringes, and patient groups. Activation force, injection time, ergonomics, and feedback can be adjusted to suit user needs. During the injection, clear clicking sounds guide the user through the entire process from start to finish, and help ensure that the device is held in place long enough. The system can also be adapted to different dose volumes and drug viscosities.

More treatments are moving from clinics into the home, but many patients feel uncertain about self-injection. Unclear feedback, high activation force, or reduced dexterity can lead to incorrect use and incomplete doses. A.i.r. Platform™ makes it possible to develop auto-injectors for groups such as children, older adults, and patients with reduced dexterity.
