The construction industry uses a huge amount of resources, accounting for 40 percent of the total energy consumption, 40 percent of material consumption and 20-35 percent of the most significant damage to the environment in Europe. By providing data, best practices and examples in this manual, experts in this area contribute to making the vision a realisable one. The potential is huge and best practice sharing is greatly needed.
