Sara is a graduate from the Royal Danish Academy with an MA in Graphic Design. She has created the concept, design and execution of an online film festival, 639festival.org, that aims to preserve the cultural heritage of endangered languages.
The Jury says
Sara’s work is to help bring awareness to language diversity. Her living archive will hopefully cultivate greater awareness and support from others. Sara is a designer with a mission and we appreciate her ability to actually execute this idea. Her idea is rooted in a subject that seems to have more and more relevance as we increasingly become global citizens and she chose an attractive format – a film festival – and then combines it with the flexibility of a digital platform.
