Creative strategist, writer and speaker Claus Skytte is one of Denmark’s leading experts in and a driving force behind the phenomena of ‘co-users’ and ‘the sharing economy’. Claus Skytte is the author of the book ‘Skal vi dele?’ (Want to share?) (2014) and a co-author of ’Medbruger’ (Co-user) (2014). Based on reflections in the wake of the financial crisis in 2008, Claus Skytte advocates a new type of capitalism and media world, where citizens become co-users. If companies wish to regain their market shares, they need to include people as active co-users in design and product development. ’Skal vi dele?’ is nothing less than the first Danish book on the concept of the sharing economy. In 2012, together with his wife, Stine Skytte, Claus Skytte developed the world’s first dress swap shop, Resecond, which consists of a physical shop and a digital app. Resecond is based on a membership concept, where the members can trade in dresses in the shop.
Claus Skytte has more than 20 years’ experience from the advertising industry, including a position as partner and creative strategist at We Love People until 2014 with clients including the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR), Falck, Tryghedsgruppen, IKEA and the Danish Cancer Society.
