Using the newest augmented reality technology, the interactive puzzle game Quantum Kate AR teaches children about quantum physics.
The Jury says
Studies show that it is a challenge to get children to concentrate on learning and retaining their attention on complex topics. Quantum Kate AR gets children out into the real world, while also teaching them quantum physics. It merges with the digital reality that children and young people live in today, and is designed to appeal especially to girls. Thus, it may contribute to the challenge of getting more girls into STEM-education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). We need to get this into schools.
