CPHSense is an environment sensing platform that gathers data on air quality, noise levels, congestion. It helps cities, and their citizens, manage the impact of pollution on both health and the environment.
The Jury says
Poor air quality is one of the leading causes of premature death. This is a flexible solution for monitoring air quality that is both easy to use and can be placed anywhere. There is a very Danish design feel in its democratic approach – since private individuals also have access to data. It raises awareness about the issue of air pollution and can both help solve problems and rethink city layouts.
