A series of sensory spaces that illustrate and measure how design and the elements around us affect our physical well-being.
The Jury says
Google together with the Danish company Muuto created the “multi-sensory” spaces for people to wander through, while measuring their responses with smart wristbands. Clearly the data gathered should be treated as sensitive, but the method could be used to better understand and thus better design for many kinds of interior space – for example in healthcare institutions or schools. Also, the approach points to how our homes and inhabited spaces could respond and adapt to how we are feeling. Ground-breaking.
