Mads is a specialist in connecting design practice and strategy and has handled a wide range of design and branding projects for clients including the Danish Parliament, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Denmark, Tate Modern, Designmuseum Denmark, Bang & Olufsen, DR (Danish Broadcasting Corporation), Hotel d’Angleterre in Copenhagen and Novo Nordisk.
Mads is currently an honorary affiliate professor at Design School Kolding. He holds a BA in architecture and two master’s degrees in design.
He has received several design prizes, including Knud V. Engelhardt Memorial Grant, Red Dot – Best of the Best and Creative Circle Gold Award.
Mads is an active speaker and contributor to the design debate and a visiting professor and external examiner at Denmark’s four creative higher education institutions.
