Karen Grøn has a master’s degree in Aesthetics and Culture from the University of Aarhus and a master’s in public management from the University of Southern Denmark.
Human relations to art and design with commitment and participation as the focal point has been the center of Karen Grøn’s work. Since the year 2000, she has worked at Trapholt – Museum of modern art, craft, and design, where she has been the director since 2010.
In 2005- 2006 and 2018-2019, Karen Grøn was a guest researcher at respectively University College London and Tate.
