Signe and Maria are graduates from the VIA Design Film & Transmedia study program in 2017. Since then they started their own company MANND to create branded content, communication and entertainment using XR (extended reality). One of their pieces, X-ray fashion, is also a finalist in the Message Understood category.

Signe and Maria’s straightforward recipe of connecting human realities across multiple spatial relationships via XR and VR brings us towards greater understanding and empathy for the world we create through our actions. Their X-Ray Fashion installation rethinks how we show what happens behind the runway. It does more than tell the story; it lets people experience it in a very physical and tangible way. More than 300.000 people have visited the installations – and 80% of visitors say it has changed the way they think about fashion.
