The jury says
With his Happaratus ‘power glove’ project, Morten Grønning Nielsen has made it possible to shape hard materials such as stone and wood manually with more sensitivity. Poetically, this helps man become a machine and turns the body into a maker. In a sense, he advances and perfects mankind while uniting the analogue and the electronic and drawing references to sculpting. He links innovation back to Scandinavian crafts traditions and combines the modern expression with the crafts traditions of his grandparents.
