A new urban space consisting of floating islands designed for activity in the harbour – free for everyone to use and explore.

The Jury says
This is the next step in turning harbour areas that were once used for industry, into open spaces for humans. You can “own” your island for a short time by simply rowing or sailing out there. The islands have already been in use in Nordhavn and Refshaleøen, where they have created new life in the harbour. Suddenly, we can access previously inaccessible areas of the city. This is a symbol; humans are taking back the cityscape of the harbour, like we did with the public bathing areas. And with rising sea levels, these sorts of structures could become urgently needed in the future.
