Danish Design creates value
Christian Bason, CEO, Danish Design Center: “We have a fantastic group of finalists and winners that reflect Denmark’s leading position in design. With Danish Design Award, we celebrate the difference design can make and we highlight the value that design creates both in Denmark and abroad.”
Abelone Varming, CEO, Design denmark: “Danish designers shine in their deep understanding of how design can help make the world a better place for both the individual and society as a whole. The quality is high in ideas, execution and the aesthetic choices. This goes for both lifestyle-related products and the digital solutions. We have an incredibly strong group of finalists and winners again this year, and I am confident that the future for Danish design is looking bright.”
Lars Frelle, Director General, Confederation of Danish Industry: “In Denmark, we occasionally take design for granted and forget, how much value a good design solution can create. Danish companies excel in creating solutions that are both simple and elegant, but first and foremost work for the people that use them.”
