HAVN x SMALL was created to meet the challenge of providing temporary seating during a major construction project.
The designers set out to develop a flexible seating system that maximized capacity while allowing quick adjustments.
In collaboration with the Copenhagen-based company SMALLrevolution, known for transforming plastic waste into new products, ZESO Architects brought HAVN x SMALL to life. This partnership enabled the seating system to be made from upcycled plastics sourced from retired household waste bins in Copenhagen, with the initial production incorporating one ton of plastic waste.
Inspired by the wharf edges of Copenhagen, HAVN x SMALL is designed for dynamic, temporary spaces. Its modular design enables easy assembly and adaptation to various settings.
