Nordic Rebels is a movement pushing the evolution of higher education by using design thinking and design tools to solve concrete challenges in education. The movement is student-led and aims to create change with multisensory experiences.
The Jury says
Collaboration is the keyword in this initiative – from the start to the end. The Nordic Rebels approach to cross-disciplinary learning is rooted in the values of Danish and Finnish societies; the approach of student-led learning comes from a uniquely Nordic perspective on democracy. The design is attractive in concept and execution, challenging existing models of education with a grassroots learning space that is grounded in real-life. The solution facilities team behaviours and learning in an appealing and energetic manner.
