The jury says
Emilie Dissing Wiehe’s interest in dementia arose when her grandfather was diagnosed with the disease. This led to three specially designed products aiming to improve quality of life for people with dementia, which were part of her graduation project from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts. The project illustrates that design can also be drive welfare innovation by developing carefully thought-out and beautiful products focused on the user’s needs and situation.
