AQpure offers ultrafiltration-based drinking water treatment to provide communities with up to 50 m3 per day. AQpure is pre-fabricated to ease on-site installation, and its control strategy is self-adaptive and focuses on operational reliability and on extending the intervals between service. The unit can be remotely managed via the mobile network.

AQpure offers a step towards a solution to an immense problem by providing water treatment in emerging markets with an easy-to-use solution that can be remotely managed via the mobile network. From a design perspective, the product may bot be an example of classic aesthetic. However, a situational aesthetic may emerge that is meaningful when we measure the impact a product may have on the world.
